It’s Friday, and all I want is to be on an island somewhere drinking a lot of fruity drinks with copious amounts of alcohol. I was looking at old pictures and found some I took of my time in Santorini, Greece.

I was on a cruise, so my time in Santorini was limited to a few hours. I saw a lot of beautiful views, but I didn’t really get a good chance to explore the island. It’s definitely on my list of places to go again! With views and a sunset like that, who can resist?

What a great post! I went to Santorini on a cruise this summer and I can truely say, I felt in love with this place. It’s so beautiful that it’s very hard to describe it. Oh, how I wish I was there now:)
me too!! I went on a cruise as well, and we were only there like 3 hours. It wasn’t long enough! Did you get to ride the donkeys down the mountain? Most terrifying thing ever!
Quintessential Greece. When we were there we were too broke to go to the islands… next time…
We dream about getting a little sailboat and just spending months slowly sailing around all the islands in Greece. One day! All we would ever do is consume fruity drinks, swim, and watch sunsets, tho.

I spent a day in Athens a few months ago and I fell in love with Greece! This Santorini architecture is awesome and I hope to see it one day with my own eyes
When did you go there?
You definitely have to go. It’s beautiful. I went in 2007 when I studied abroad. We got a 10 day break and my friends and I all decided to take a cruise through the Greek islands. Best idea ever!
Santorini is my favourite Greek Island and I fell in love with the place last year when I was island hopping. I hiked up the caldera and went on a sunset cruise. The sunset is spectacular!
It’s incredible. I can’t wait to go back one day and bring my boyfriend!
I would love to go there and just walk around taking photos for a week or two. That would be a fantastic holiday to me.
