Bella Roma

by Sheryll on December 8, 2011

Oh Rome. I love you.

I love you with all of your smoke, noise, and cobblestone. I love your food, your wine, your gelato, your people.

I threw my coin in the Trevi, so that means I’m coming back one day. And I hope you’re exactly like I left you.

Beautiful, rich, and full of vibrant life.

Ohhh yeah, it’s cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper), in a friend parmesan bowl. Hands down the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. I still think about it!

The pictures are fantastic, but the one of the cannoli is all I needed to make me want to visit:)

That cannoli was AMAZING, but the best cannoli I had there was at some random place Johnny and I found walking on our way home one night. I sadly don’t have a picture because my battery had died…but it was the most amazing experience of my life!

You’ll love it! But be prepared for CRAZY amounts of cig smoke. It was my only complaint.

Oh man the food…the cheese…the wine…I’m drooling over here. My aunt took me to Rome the summer I was 13 or 14. Needless to say, I fell in love. I think I threw a coin in the Trevi Fountain too. Like you said–that means I’ll go back someday :)

Drink it all in, on behalf of all of us reading!

Oh, girl. Your pictures are absolutely fabulous. And the food pics? Oh mama, I think I’m drowning in drool. Hahaha.

It’s on my bucket list to spend a summer in Italy doing nothing but learning Italian and eating EVERYTHING.
