I was blessed with the most GORGEOUS weather while I was in London. After studying abroad for 5 months in London, I knew how crappy the weather can be. Gloom, gloom, rain, more gloom, rain, cloudy skies (especially during the fall/winter). Now, I don’t mind London in the rain, as it adds a bit of charm to the city, but being an LA girl, I definitely appreciated the sunlight.

It was still freezing (compared to the 80 degree temps I left in LA), but the sun took a bit of the chill off. Johnny and I rented an apartment by Kensington Gardens, so most of our walks through the city involved going through there and Hyde Park. The fall colors with the bright blue sky were just unbelievable.

It didn’t rain the entire week we were in London. I know, I’m still in shock too, especially because it’s fall. The travel gods were looking down on me, I know it. It definitely made the travel transition a bit easier. And even though the sun sets crazy early in London (like 3:30pm), Johnny and I still enjoyed every minute.

i was just scrolling down to say that it must be an especially dry fall, because hubs & i were there in october and it didn’t rain much either! it was a little cloudy and sprinkled the one day, but for the most part, our days looked like the above. isn’t it the best when you luck out weather-wise on vacation? xo! the romantic

Glad you were blessed with such good weather!
