Random assorted Christmas pictures from London and Paris. Surprisingly, Rome didn’t have many Christmas decorations…or maybe I just missed them all? Even though I’m in one of the most amazing cities ever (and even more amazing during the holidays), it still doesn’t feel like Christmas to me. Anyone else have that problem?
I guess that’s the tough part about being a traveler. Either way, Paris is GORGEOUS this time of year. If you’ve never been during the holidays, make sure to come. You won’t regret it. And there’s enough vin chaud for everyone!
Christmas Day, Johnny and I are going to go ice skating at the Eiffel Tower, make dinner, drink champagne, and watch cheesy Christmas movies.
What do you have planned for Christmas? What’s on your Christmas list? I’ve been hinting at Johnny for a bottle of perfume…I’ll let you know the results
Until next time!

I wouldn’t say that not feeling like Christmas is a “problem”! I love being somewhere else in the world and away from all the commercial crap that bombards in North America!
The day, and the season, is what you make it. And it sounds like you and Johnny have some awesome plans! We’re in southern Spain so may go and take a dip in the Mediterranean if we’re feeling brave! Other then that, we’ll be doing the same, cooking Christmas dinner and watching cheesy movies.
Merry Christmas to you both!
Merry Christmas to you to Dalene! Say hi to the Mediterranean for us!
We went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park too! Hope you get that bottle of perfume you’re wishing for, but I’m sure that no matter what Santa brings, you’ll have a fabulous time in Paris on Christmas Day.
I loved the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, but it was CRAZY crowded when I went..and that was in November! I can’t imagine it now.
Merry Christmas to you too!
Lovely pictures! I spent Christmas in London last year. I miss that
This year I’m back home in the States with family. And the only thing on my wishlist is a Kindle Fire…yay!
YES! A kindle = the best thing ever. I have one and I can’t live without it.
Yeah it doesn’t feel like the Christmas season here in the States. It’s been in the 70′s most of December. I am waiting for snow. My parents and I have decided to make Christmas a little simple this year. We aren’t have a feast like we usually do, just having a nice simple dinner of Bulgogi. It’s a Korean dish that is amazing!
For my wish list I didn’t really ask for much, so I am waiting to see what I get. Merry Christmas!
As much as I LOVE Paris, I’d be pretty happy with some 70 degree weather right now. I love the idea of having a simple Christmas meal. Sometimes it’s the best, and you don’t have tons of dishes afterwards
Europe definitely knows how to do Christmas. I miss Christmas window shopping in London. And ice skating at the Eiffel Tour on Christmas day – sounds PERFECT!
I can’t wait!!
Love, love, love every single one of these shots!!!! Europe really does do Christmas well. I miss that this year but I have to say it’s a nice change to be in ‘summer’ at Christmas–even though Sydney hasn’t been having much of a summer this year!
I definitely miss certain things while I’m traveling during the holidays but I think you and Johnny’s plan sounds amazing!! Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas to you too Annie! Send some warmer (ish) weather my way!
I never feel Christmassy while I’m travelling, even when I’m travelling in cold, Christmasy places. Your photos are gorgeous though – looking very festive.
I have to ask – the blocks of chocolate – the look AMAZING. How does that work? do you get a cup of hot milk to dissolve it in?
YES! You just put the block in the hot milk…and then you have magic. So bad for you…but SO amazing
Hi Sheryll,
Great photos! Very festive

Thanks!!
Fabulous! I didn’t feel Chrismasy this year either. But that’s because I didn’t get to see the sights that you did – maybe my version of Christmas IS very Europey.
Sounds like a fabulous way to spend Christmas day, hun.
