I’ve been in Korea for a little over a week, and I wanted to share some pictures with you!
Kimbap is slowly becoming my favorite (and cheap) thing to eat.
Korean stationary is going to ruin my wallet. SO cute.
This sign is from a coffee shop in my neighborhood called Pentagram: Coffee and Tarot. I’m obsessed.
I totally bought the giraffe socks. They were only 1,000 won (about $1!!).
Korea is full of amazing beauty, skin, and other random products, and this is easily the best thing I’ve ever seen. They are heart shaped heat patches for that time of the month. When I found these, my face was like the girl in the last frame….happiest person EVER. I’ve yet to try them, but if they work, I’ll let you all know!

You have taken photos of things I see everyday and made them look amazing! Can’t wait to see more.
Thank you! I love to take pictures of the really random things…lol!
I am so excited to finally see Korea through your eyes. Sounds like you made a good move and I’m super happy for you. The food is calling my name! Love it, love it, love it!!
The food is one of the best things here. Not gaining weight is going to be craaazy hard. I can’t wait to get my gym membership!
Sheryll–loved this! Took me back to my time in Seoul. I used to eat kimpap and mandu every day. Have you had bibimpap yet???? OMG. And the Korean stationary….lawd, I spent so much money on that and I think I still have most of it….is that sad? LOL.
Sounds like you’re having fun and enjoying your new life there. Can’t wait for more updates!
LOL! No, it’s not sad at all. I’m pretty sure I still have Hello Kitty stationary from when I was a kid. It’s always way too cute to use lol!
It is all so kitschy it’s adorable.
that’s my favorite part about being here!
It’s like the disneyland of Hello Kitty gear and cute animals. Man.
hahahahahaha! I can’t wait to actually go to the amusement park! It’s probably going to be cuteness overload.
Everything is all so…. anime!
Have yo been to a McDonalds yet? I’m wondering if the still sell the old school fried apple pies. And get your hands on some yakimandu. It’s also cheap and delicious.
I have been to McDonalds, but I didn’t check out the desserts. I will next time for you!
Ahhh, all those pictures equals sooo many good memories for me. I love Korea, so I make it a point to go every summer. Don’t they just have the cutest billboards and use the most adorable pictures to help with their everyday advertisements. I love how Korea has a child like “innocence” to it. The food, of course, is my absolute favorite! Samgyupsal all the way, baby!!
Samgyupsal is my true love. I’m officially obsessed with it! And yes, I love how all the advertisements have the most adorable logos and pictures. It’s my dream come true!
Read your last post & now this one… I am so so soooo happy for you and so glad things are going well for you. All this amazing talk about S. Korea is making me really want to go there before going home. Oh & I love all these photos, I love when someone can take ordinary daily things and make them beautiful. Love ya & miss ya & just FYI I may be visiting you.
Really noce picture. This country should be really nice.
OH GOD THE SOCKS!
Seriously lady, I can’t wait to see more. I love your attention to detail.
Oooo! I see you’ve hit up a noraebang
Kimbap was all I ate my first few weeks here, I think I overdid it a bit, haha.
Yes! My coworkers took me there after my welcoming dinner. Nothing like getting drunk with your coworkers and singing songs. SO much fun! And yea…I think me and kimbap are going to have to take a small break. It’s so cheap, and addicting!
I will apply for a Korean visa today and just in case it is approved (i hope!), let’s meet!
Let me know as soon as you hear the good news
It looks amazing!!! And you totally seem to be enjoying yourself, very happy for you hun
x
Thank you Beverley!
Wow, wow, and wow. Love these pictures. I’ve been thinking about Korea, Japan or China for my next teaching place next year. I may end up sending you some messages to ask how school goes.
