Korean Beauty Haul: Benton, Innisfree, and Missha

I went on a bit of a Korean beauty binge…even though I’m leaving the country in 6 weeks and have enough cosmetics to fit an entire suitcase. Oh well. Gotta live it up, right?

I ordered the Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream late last week from W2beauty.com. I fell in love with the skin (toner), essence and lotion samples, and decided to hit up Gmarket to order the full size products. After placing my order on Tuesday morning, I had my the rest of my precious Benton collection in my hands Wednesday afternoon. Gotta love the delivery system in Korea!

I developed a slight rash on my forehead from testing a new product (or maybe it’s hormonal…?), and within one day of using the Benton collection, it has cleared up dramatically. I’m 1000% sold and can’t wait to do detailed reviews.

I also went to my favorite Korean cosmetic store, Innisfree, to buy some things on my must purchase list. I wrote on my Facebook page last week about both the orchid night cream and the orchid enriched cream and how much I loved the small samples I tried. I had my heart set on the night cream when I went into the store, but knowing that I was moving to a warmer climate soon, I ended up getting the enriched cream instead. It’s just heavenly and feels super luxe.

Next up is the Innisfree No-Sebum primer, which despite being a silicone based primer is absolutely fabulous. This is my 3rd or 4th time repurchasing and I think I’m going to stock up before I move to Vietnam. I don’t think I’ve done a detailed review, so if that’s something you’re interested in, let me know in the comments.

Last from Innisfree is the Olive Real Cleansing Foam, and it’s phenomenal (Thanks Jennifer for the recommendation!). It’s wonderful at removing the excess makeup from my skin without stripping precious moisture, and it’s a perfect match for my Clarisonic. I forsee myself stocking up on this before I go.

And last is a impulse buy from Missha. They were having a 50% off sale and the Super Aqua Moisture Deep Cleansing Cream was only 5,500W! Steal. I like using cleansing creams in the morning for a more gentle cleanse and this has been working beautifully.

Have you purchased any new Korean beauty products lately? I’ve set myself on a spending ban, but I may be a bit sneaky if it’s something you really, really love.
