I’m having such a great time back home, and I haven’t even been doing anything besides eating and shopping. Happiness = Sephora, sandwiches and bbq. I can’t believe I’ll be back in Korea next week. Cue the tears.

I’ve been singing praises of Korean skincare to all of my friends and family since I’ve been home. After searching the internet for online stores (after my favorites sokoglam and w2beauty), I hit gold with Wishtrend, a gorgeous, affordable, easy to navigate store that features a TON of new Korean brands I haven’t tried. They even have something called a WishBox, which is a beauty box filled with all sorts of different Korean cosmetics brands to try. It’s like my dream come true.

I’m a huge fan of the Independent Fashion Bloggers – Blogging Tips page. Even though the site is focused on fashion bloggers, all of the blogging tips have been incredibly helpful to me. My favorite post has been the 2014 Blogging Resolutions post. It has helped me establish a clear cut goal for the blog, and things I need to improve on.

I’m super late to the party, but Bloglovin’ (follow me!) is like a treasure trove of blogging goodness. I’ve found SO many new blogs that have inspired me, and just maybe have made my wallet a little lighter. My favorites have been CocoAmourr, Lipstick with Some Sunshine, and Ellalogy, who has inspired me to track down this Tatcha 24K Gold Lip Balm…I obviously need it.

I am back for the 4th edition of my Friday Favorites! I missed last week, so I’m so excited to share some of my favorite things around the web (and a little bonus!)

1. I NEED a pink coat. I’m swooning!

2. Buzzfeed nailed this article. (Yes, I don’t think Channing Tatum is hot at all, sorry not sorry)

3. I have a minor (ahem major) obsession with Tumblr, and this NatGeo tumblr page is just fantastic. Don’t blame me if you want to hop on a plane and go travel.

4. Breakfast sandwiches make the world go ’round. I want 435834 of these.

5. I know this is a Pottery Barn teen collection, but I’d love everything for myself. The bedding. The elephant ring holder. The chaise lounge! Oh my god.

And last, I get this question a lot, so I thought I’d finally share.

My top 5 favorite Korean cosmetic products

1. Clio Kill Black Waterproof Pen Liner

2. Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX

3. Missha First Treatment Essence

4. Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Primer

5. Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R

It took me a while to narrow it down, since I love a LOT of the products I’ve tried. But if I was ever stranded on a deserted island, these are the 5 items I would want to have.

This week has been a roller coaster. We had a day off on Wednesday, which completely threw my whole schedule off. My students are all going through their puberty phases and slightly driving me crazy, but it’s nothing I can’t handle!

I finally get paid next week, and I’m going to Shinsegae dept. store right after school on payday to get my hands on the new MAC Riri Hearts collection. I NEED that Riri Nude lipstick! I’ve heard that it’s not particularly popular here (unlike the US where I’ve heard everything is already sold out), so I’m I am praying with all of my strength that that’s not the case here.

At any rate, check out my Facebook page where I’m doing a quick poll for my next review. So far, the Dr. Jart Peeling Gel is in the lead. Cast your vote now!

1. Emily Schuman is one of my biggest blogging inspirations. I’m loving her feature on Into the Gloss. It made me want to get my ass into gear!

2. Have you ever wondered about the difference between good and bad alcohol in your cosmetics? This YouTube vid by Veronica Gorgeois really breaks it down.

3. Speaking of YouTube, I’ve been thinking of dipping my toes into its treacherous waters. Ingrid Nilsen (aka Miss Glamorazzi) shares her really helpful tips for becoming a YouTube beauty star.

4. I can probably only find like 4 of the ingredients in Korea to make this delicious sounding pumkpin beer cheese soup, but a girl can dream.

5. I have champagne tastes with a beer budget, so I of course want these boots for winter, but cannot afford them. Crying forever.

6. Ambien is one of the top prescription medications for insomnia, but did you know it could also normalize the function for certain damaged neurons? Incredible stuff.

7.  Want to read more about me? I did an interview with Nubian Drifter where I talk about my experience in London, Johnny, and my love for all things beauty.

Have a great weekend!

I’m in the midst of an awesome 4 day weekend. This means binge watching Breaking Bad (almost finished with season 3), catching up on Scandal, drinking a lot of wine, and doing a bit of sight-seeing before it gets too cold. Here are my favorite links for the week!

1. How to grow your brand when you’re an introvert.

2. 4 easy steps to an awesome vampy lip.

3. One of my dreams in life is to be a master bartender/spirit connoisseur. So in an effort to learn more about spirits, I’ve been reading things like this.

4. If anyone is looking for an awesome YouTube beauty vlogger, look no further. She’s my absolute fav!

5. I’ve been frying eggs all wrong. I have now seen the light, thanks to HonestlyYum.

6. I’m obsessed with following makeup artists on Instagram, and Into The Gloss just published a list of their favorites. YES!!

Have a great weekend!

Hey everyone!  I’m starting a new Friday Favorites series, highlighting my favorite links from around the web each week.

1. I’ve had the same desktop wallpaper (a Hello Kitty one) for as long as I can remember, that is, until I saw this one on The Kinch Life. It’s perfect for me.

2. Like I said on Wednesday, I’ve been teaching myself basic Photoshop techniques, and Pugly Pixel is a great resource for tutorials, freebies, and tons of inspiration.

3. I poured over the  Creature Comforts color crush tag for hours the other day. Endless color inspiration for your blog, wedding, event, or party.

4. Weekly inspiration -How to chose which idea to pursue when you have so many (via Amanda Genther)

5. There is nothing I need more in this world than this DAMN GINA! sweatshirt. I’m a Martin fan for life.

6. 27 pancakes worth waking up for? Yes please!

Have a great weekend!
